TOM ARCHER - PRESIDENT

Tom was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He graduated from the University of Houston with a BS degree in Economics. In 1971, Tom worked for Mutual of New York in their office managers program, with the majority of that time spent in the Atlanta office. After moving back to Houston in 1976, Tom was employed by Aetna Life & Casualty, first as an agent and then as a recruiting supervisor. In 1979, he joined Philadelphia Life which was the top producing agency in the country. 1987 found the Houston office of Philadelphia Life become Elite Marketing Group. This event expanded Elite's markets and added several quality companies making Elite one of the top brokerage agencies in the country. In 1996, Elite joined Insurance Designers of America, Inc. as their Houston office. Tom was named President of Elite Marketing Group in 2000.

He is on the Board of Directors of the International Association of Financial Planners (2 yrs.), currently serving as Vice President. Tom is also the President-elect of the Society of Financial Service Professionals - Houston chapter.
